venuTry

Privacy Policy

Effective August 5, 2026

venuTry runs product-sampling programs inside venues. This policy explains what we collect when you scan a station placard and complete a form, and what we do with it.

Who we are

venuTry operates the sampling program on behalf of the brand whose product is being sampled. For any question about your data, contact venutryhq@gmail.com.

Age

The service is intended for adults 21 and over, matching the venues we operate in. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn we have collected information from anyone under 18, we delete it.

What we collect

When you complete a capture form, we collect only what that form asks for, which may include:

To detect automated abuse, we generate a rough signal from your browser. It cannot identify you or track you across other sites, and we do not use commercial fingerprinting services. We do not collect precise location.

Why we collect it and who receives it

We collect this information to run the sampling program and to share your submission with the specific brand whose product you sampled and consented to hear from. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties. The brand's own use of your information is governed by their privacy policy.

The venuTry list (optional)

Separately from the brand's form, you can choose to join the venuTry list by checking the optional box at capture. This is our own list — it is independent of the brand's data, is never required to receive a sample or reward, and you can leave it at any time. We use it to send you free samples, perks, and early access from venuTry venues near you.

If you provide a phone number and opt in, you consent to receive text messages from venuTry about these offers. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. To be removed from the venuTry list, reply STOP to any text or email venutryhq@gmail.com.

How long we keep it

We retain submissions for the duration of the relevant campaign and a reasonable period afterward for reconciliation and reporting, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing venutryhq@gmail.com. Providing your information is voluntary — you can accept a sample without completing the form.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, US state privacy laws — including California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Virginia, Texas, and others — give you the right to know what we collect, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email venutryhq@gmail.com. We'll respond within 45 days.

Text messages

If you provide a phone number and the campaign includes text messaging, you consent to receive texts from the sponsoring brand. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Where your data is stored

Your information is stored in the United States, through our infrastructure providers.

Data breaches

If a breach affects your information, we will notify affected people and regulators as required by law.

Security

Submissions are stored with row-level access controls so that only authorized staff and the sponsoring brand can see the data relevant to them. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date above.
